   If you would like to participate in a committee to help us control mosquitoes and protect against West Nile Virus, please leave your name and phone number under "Add a comment" and a line about which committee you're interested in and what you would like to contribute.  You might even suggest a new committee if you see a need.  Each committee is headed by a Board Member  and can set its own meeting schedule and manner of working.  This website can provide a workspace for collaboration on written material or can be used as a bulletin board to avoid the inefficiencies of group e-mails.  Committees can choose whether to display their work in progress to the public (which might invite more public input) or wait until it is finalized before it is made available for viewing.  The current (and planned) committees are as follows:
