Gordon brought in audit exemption request for us to sign.
Rosemary reported the resolution for name change was submitted to Delta County Court. After the judge signs it, she will submit it to DoLA and other agencies.
Brainstorming regarding first steps for Biz:
Interviews
Revise employee manual
Change phone recording. Kevin's assistant Katie will continue
e-mail address, changes to website. Tara will work with Biz.
Job applications - deadline April 10 for consideration of April hire
Develop new logo
Order uniform shirts and hats (with logo)
Inventory and examine equipment
Create a supply list -
People to meet with:
Tony Stillwell for inventory and supply list. She can connect with Gale at Adapco for ordering supplies. Jimmy Terrazas at Delta County for general operations and support. Kevin will introduce her to some of the landowners. Mike will coordinate with her regarding trapping and use of volunteers. Jeremy at Delta County GIS to coordinate database and maps.
Employee training - work with OtterTail.
Set up GIS database system.
Develop report form to present to the Board (Rosemary will help).
Restart services. Give lock combination to utilities to allow service. Gordon will do trash, Kris will do port-a-potty.
Keys - Biz needs a key and can decide which, if any, of the crew need one.
Develop thresholds for various actions (truck spraying, aerial spraying, etc.)
Look into shovel-ready projects that might be eligible for funding.
Long term - help ranchers access NRCS funds to switch to overhead irrigation rather than flood irrigation.
Coordinate payroll.
We will meet at 8:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 1 at State Farm to meet with Biz. Tara will meet with her on Friday to go over website issues. Kevin will meet with Biz and teachers to start student projects and volunteer opportunities. Main contact for first week: Kevin; second week: Kris; after that, Robin.
